Rüdiger Kramm
Born in 1945 in Schaafheim-Radheim.
During his studies at the TH Darmstadt, Rüdiger Kramm was already concerned with new urban concepts that provide city dwellers with buildings that are as functional as they are visually appealing. Within the framework of a postgraduate scholarship of the DAAD he deepened these topics. After a period of collaboration with renowned architects such as Günter Behnisch and D.W. Insall (London), he has been running his own architectural practice in Darmstadt since 1977.
From 1981-84 he held a lectureship in the Department of Art at the University of Mainz. Since 1990 he has been a full professor at the Institute for Building Construction and Design II at the University of Karlsruhe, Department of Architecture.
From 1990 partnership with Axel Strigl.
