Working as an architect throughout Europe
Good news for our students: Our Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in Architecture have been successfully notified by the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Architects (AKBW)! Thanks to the notification, our architecture degrees are certified as meeting the European minimum requirements for professional qualifications. This makes it easier for our graduates to register as architects in other European countries. In concrete terms, this means that architects who apply for admission to another European Chamber of Architects do not have to go through a lengthy and costly procedure as part of an individual recognition, but can be registered without further formalities. After successful registration in the respective professional register, they are entitled to the same professional rights as local architects.
The notification of our degree programs strengthens the international mobility and professional opportunities of our students.
You can find more information on notification and professional recognition in the instructions for notification of the Chamber of Architects
Baden-Württemberg from the year 2017.
