Every semester, numerous international students start their Bachelor or Master studies at our department. In order to support them especially in the first phase of their studies, the department has established an international mentoring program.

If you would like to help international students with their start at KIT in technical, linguistic, and technical questions and if you are studying in a higher semester in the Bachelor or Master, please contact Silke Marx (silke.marx∂kit.edu) of "Fakultät Architektur international" (FAi).

Depending on the extent of your mentoring activity, you can receive 1 to 2 ECTS in the interdisciplinary qualifications or a student assistant contract. You also have the opportunity to participate in the intercultural HoC day workshop "Welcome! Arriving in a new culture".

Gain intercultural competence, expand your circle of friends and your language skills. Become a mentor for international first-year students at our department.

Every beginning is hard. Starting your studies in a foreign country presents you with even more challenges. Therefore, the KIT Faculty of Architecture has developed a special International Mentoring Program. You will be supported by a student of our faculty who will help you with technical, organizational and linguistic questions concerning the study of architecture.
