- From 1949 self-employed architect in Solothurn, together with his father Bruno Haller until 1962. 1956 Admission to the BSA, Association of Swiss Architects
- 1966-1971 Temporary guest professor at the Building Research Institute of Konrad Wachsmann, University of Southern California, Los Angeles
- 1974 Honorary Professor, University of Stuttgart
- 1977 Full Professor University of Karlsruhe, Head of the Institute for Industrial Building Production (until 1990 Institute for Building Design)
- 1992 Honorary doctorate in engineering from the University of Dortmund.
- 2012 Prof. Fritz Haller passed away on 15.10.2012.
