DIGITAL Study Workshop
In the DIGITAL study workshop, students and interested parties of the Department of Architecture have the opportunity to get to know, try out and apply machine production methods for model making.
In addition to the classic, manual teaching, architectural models are created here with the help of cutting plotters, laser cutters and 3D printers. The advantage is the high accuracy, the scalability and the possibility to work on even complex geometries quickly.
The offer is limited, the use is only possible with instruction and by appointment. The data on the machines, the calendar for booking appointments, etc. can be accessed online in the ILIAS portal. For larger group models, technical as well as general questions about digital model making, an appointment should be made in advance.
