Anlässlich seines 50-jährigen Bestehens lädt das Fachgebiet Landschaftsarchitektur der Fakultät für Architektur am KIT ein zu einem zweitägigen internationalen Symposium. Unter dem Titel „design with ...“ widmet sich die Veranstaltung der Idee der Landschaftsgestaltung als einer standortbezogenen Transformation des Ortes durch Interpretation und Analyse, unter Einbeziehung der vorhandenen Bestandteile und der lokalen Kultur, um eine neue Urbanität zu schaffen. 
Internationale Landschaftsarchitekt*innen werden ihre Positionen zur Gestaltung und zum Umgang mit Landschaft vor dem Hintergrund wachsender Metropolen, des Klimawandels und gesellschaftlicher Herausforderungen zur Diskussion stellen.
